Body-Oriented Psychotherapy

Most psychotherapy methods rely upon talking, but talking alone is not always enough. The most effective procedures bypass the talking process and meet emotional needs at a deeper level. By addressing core emotional needs with non-touch, body-oriented procedures in conjunction with counseling, my approach offers direct access to the healthy person inside. I enjoy discovering the real person behind the emotional problems.

All people possess the same needs for healthy agreements, healthy boundaries, emotional expression, genuine connection, etc. Therapy methods that meet more emotional needs offer greater benefit, as well as reliability. Intensive work with core needs affords the fastest, most complete relief for anxiety, depression, and related conditions.

My methods are beneficial for people of all ages, with careful modifications for children.  Among other conditions, specialities include anxiety disorders such as phobias and obsessive compulsive disorders, as well as trauma (abuse and other traumatic events).
